Entry is only for the 2nd-floor visitor area, not the prayer hall.
The guided tour is in English, while the audio guide is available in 25 languages.
Modest dress is required; women must cover their hair with a scarf.
Shoes must be removed before entering the mosque.
Children must be accompanied by an adult and show valid ID if needed.
Large bags and suitcases are not allowed inside.
Tours are available daily except Tuesdays, at 14:30, and 16:45.

Hagia Sophia is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most iconic monuments in the world. It was originally built as a Byzantine cathedral in 537 AD, later became an Ottoman mosque, then a museum, and now serves as a mosque again.
